Less than 10 minutes’ walk from metro-tram stop Marconiplein you will find the stop Marconistraat/M4H, where you can take the 'green' electric ferry (of the Watertaxi) every 15 minutes. Price: €2,- per person and on presentation of a student card (or a season ticket provided through your education or employer) it is free.
The fastest way to get to RDM from Rotterdam or Schiedam. From more than 50 jetty locations in Rotterdam and Schiedam. Call to make a reservation: 010 - 403 03 03. You can also take the Green Ferry from Watertaxi Rotterdam and easily get over from the Marconistraat. It goes every 15 minutes (except during the summer vacations).
The RDM area is large, so companies and schools have different addresses. Choose the right address and park your car in one of the nearby parking lots. From the A15 (The South of Rotterdam) take exit 18 towards Heijplaat. There are charging stations available (unfortunately not always available due to frequent use).
There are more ways to get to RDM by public transportation. We recommend planning your trip with Google Maps and/or 9292. The 2 main options are:
By streetcar or metro to Marconiplein and the last part over water with the ferry service (about 20 min from Marconiplein). By bus or metro to Zuidplein or Slinge and then the last part by bus 68 (approx. 20 minutes from Zuidplein and 15 minutes from Slinge).
Coming by bike? Then bike to Marconistraat/M4H and park your bike next to the pick-up stop. Do you prefer to take your bike with you? Then take the bicycle ferry service, it goes in the morning and evening rush hour on weekdays, every 15 minutes between 7:00 and 9:30 am and between 4:00 and 6:30 pm.
