Deltalinqs Annual Dinner

Recently, Deltalinqs celebrated its anniversary year with us at RDM. In the Onderzeebootloods, they hosted the annual dinner, where connecting members, partners, and stakeholders took center stage. The evening featured a surprising and inspiring program focused on collaboration within the port and industrial cluster and included major news.

## New Chair of Deltalinqs and the Rotterdam Port Promotion Council  
During the Deltalinqs Annual Dinner, it was announced that Jacco Vonhof will become the new chair of both Deltalinqs and the Rotterdam Port Promotion Council as of 1 September.

Vonhof joins Deltalinqs and the Rotterdam Port Promotion Council after nearly eight years as chair of MKB-Nederland. In that role, he represented countless SME entrepreneurs in national politics and public debate.

## “The port provides us with everything we need on a daily basis”  
Jacco Vonhof: “The Port of Rotterdam captures everyone’s imagination. The companies operating here supply us with everything we rely on every day, from electricity, semi-finished products, and fuels to food.”

He added: “At the same time, I wanted to continue contributing to entrepreneurship as an important part of the solution to the major challenges our country faces. All of that comes together here, and I am very much looking forward to working with all regional partners, the board, the members, and the teams at Deltalinqs and the Rotterdam Port Promotion Council.”

Coastruction relocation

After four years, Coastruction has closed the door behind them at the Innovation Dock. But don’t worry, they haven’t gone far! They’ve moved to the Dokloodsen, just a little further down the road at RDM Rotterdam.

Rutger Semps explains why: “When we secured a major project in 2024 and needed to scale up quickly, we were able to rent the space on a monthly basis for a friendly price. At the same time, we started expanding our team, and our office gradually became too small. So the decision was an easy one.”

## A spot available at the Innovation Dock
Coastruction’s departure means a space has opened up at the Innovation Dock. The Innovation Dock is the flexible workspace and office environment at RDM Rotterdam. Are you a start‑up expecting to grow? Or do you need to scale up temporarily? The Innovation Dock offers both the literal and figurative space for innovation in the (maritime) manufacturing industry. In this open environment, companies can rent a plot on a flexible basis.
