Collaboration Tetrahedron and Franklin Offshore
What do you do when you want to evaluate a new technique on a large scale, but don’t have the capacity?
For example, to build a crane that can hoist extremely high, Tetrahedron visited their neighbours Franklin Offshore Europe, the ‘hoisting and lifting expert’ of Europe.
The result? A 1.5 year long test collaboration in which the two companies combined their expertise in developing an innovative product for the offshore wind industry. For example, they successfully conducted a tensile force test equivalent to towing 525 cars. A fitting example of the power of collaboration in the Rotterdam Makers District.
